Ha Long bay is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonders. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the tiny limestone islands are dotted with many beaches and grottoes created by the sweeping winds and gentle waves.

Tuan Chau has become well-known to both international and domestic tourists as an extremely attractive destination. Some of the local attractions featured are: a dolphin and seal club, a circus, a crocodile club, an ( artificial) beach stretching 4kms long, a Vietnamese culinary area, a water recreation park with activities such as motor racing, canoeing, parachuting, and water skiing.

Day 1: Hanoi- Halong Bay

We will depart Hanoi around 8am. The drive to Halong Bay is around 3hours along the Vietnamese countryside. We make a brief stop along the way and arrive at the port at midday. You will then board the “ Jewel of the Bay” and sit down to a wonderful seafood feast while cruising into the bay. After lunch we will visit the inside of a limestone cave before finding a secluded bay to anchor for the night. There will be a chance to swim in the emerald water before dinner. Accommodations for the night are in a private, ensuite timber cabins with air- conditioning and hot showers.

Day 2: Halong – Tuan Chau island

You will rise to the tranquil beauty of the bay and have time for an early morning dip fllowed by breakfast. That morning we continue to cruise around the bay briefing anchoring in tranquil areas to either swim or kayak. The kayaks are lightweight and easy to use and in keeping with our safety policies all participants will be issued with life-vests. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a back up vessel for those wishing to lounge on board. At around midday we will return to the main harbor and take a brief 10 minutes bus ride from Halong harbor to stay overnight in Viethouse resort. Relaxing on Tuan Chau Island, you will be treated to a splendid dinner. After dinner you have free time to visit the Dolphins and Seals, Beluga Performance Club, a high tech water fountain, the water performance or other activities.

Day 3: Tuan Chau island- hanoi

The next morning enjoy breakfast overlooking the bay and then cycle around the island to relax and take in some fresh air. You will stop along the way for a swim as well as relaxing in the area, or do other activities such as water skiing, motor canoeing, kite flying, playing beach volleyball or football. At around midday we will return to the Viethouse to have lunch before transferring to our tour vehicle for a casual 3-hour journey back to Hanoi. We should be back in the capital comfortably around.
